I’m planning to make smaller crown on yellow line and bigger crown on red line.

I just removed old needles on low branch.

That was not enough strong.

 

 

 

 

Getting smaller?

 

 

 

 

 

I leave long Spring buds on these branch pads to make bigger.

 

 

 

 

Also I did not pull the buds off over the red line.

 

 

 

 

But, I removed old needles and leave single or double buds on each junction.
